Imperialism Document Analysis & Short Essay Response

Project Goal : The goal of the Imperialism Document Analysis was to analyze and understand different points of views on the topic of imperialism. We are also responsible for understanding the conflict of annexation within the Philippines.

In order to accomplish the project goal, my team and I discussed each document in depth and answered the questions in full detail. We each helped each other fully understand the concepts and interpret each document. We discussed the Senator Beveridge Speech, Yellow Journalism, & Mark Twain's Speech.

In order to create a better outcome in the future, we could more efficiently answer questions at a faster pace to finish the assignment on time.

I believe this assignment can be improved by having Mr. Boone explain the concept of imperialism before interpreting the articles. The most enjoyable part of this activity was gaining the knowledge on imperialism and fully understanding the concept as a team.
