Ellis Island Simulation

Project Goal: To provide a movie script and film that demonstrates your fictional family's life before their journey, the journey, the afterlife and process on Ellis Island.

In order to accomplish the project goal, my team and I provided appropriate script lyrics that showcased each family member's traits, physical appearance, and complications. With the script lyrics, we filmed different scenes and then created an entire movie in black and white. Our costumes definitely added to the role play of our characters and our movie was very well edited and showcased the Capone's struggle to America. We also played our roles very well on simulation day resulting in no one being sent back home.

I believe our team could have created a better outcome if we provided more details in the video on our ship ride to Ellis Island and spoke louder so the audio was more clear.

The activity can be improved in the future by having Ellis Island further explained into detail before even beginning the project.
