Junior Year of CIBACS is where students are given the freedom to complete a year-long individual project that showcases their growth and learning experiences through a ten hour internship of their choice. The junior project, known as FasTrak, allows students to shadow any mentor and gain valuable exposure and skills in that career field. Students are then responsible to present what they learned, along with Journals that describe their experience, a Resume and Cover Letter, and a Process Research Paper.

The desire to work in the business field and my love for the elderly has led me to intern with Marion Miele, the Public Relations and Marketing Director at Meridian Crown Cove Senior Living. I have completed a total of 10 hours interning with Marion and have learned many tasks along the way. I learned how valuable first impressions are, how to promote and market a company, how to conduct a facility tour, provide the right paper work for future residents, and how to run a smooth move - in day for a new resident.

Throughout each day I am committed to living my life to the absolute fullest. I personally value appreciation, courage, and respecting others and their opinions. Maintaining my core values of respect and persistence has shaped me to be the person I am today. My mission is to use my passion and integrity to strive to meet my goals and never lose sight of I am.
