I'm incredibly thankful that I was given the opportunity to intern with Marion Miele and experience the daily life of a Public Relations and Marketing Director at a Senior Living. Not only did I learn different skills, but I was given the freedom to have a hands-on experience. I learned how valuable first impressions are, how to promote and market a company, how to conduct a facility tour, and provide the right paper work for future residents. The main process that I learned is how to run a smooth move - in day for a new resident. Students are required to generate a Process Research Paper which fully explains a process they learned and keep track of their experiences within a journal.
